Ownership of Mid-Orange Correctional Facility transferred to the Town of Warwick and the Warwick Valley Local Development Corp.

On March 6, 2014, the State of NY transferred ownership of the complex to the Warwick Valley Local Development Corp. and the Town of Warwick.  Much of the developed areas of the site will become the new Warwick Valley Office and Technology Park, and the dedicated open space lands will be held by the Town of Warwick.  For more, read article at:

  1. I was the son of staff and lived on the grounds from 1952 to it’s riots and closing as a boys school…if I told you what I witnessed the state would have a fit. It’s not pretty.
